CHRISTIAN TEFL
who we are

We are a UK-based charity, formed in 2012, in 1997, training people from around the world to teach English as a Foreign Language.

https://www.christiantefl.org

what we do

Based in the UK, we work with individuals, community organisations and churches to provide training for new English teachers who seek to work in two areas:
1) volunteering in the UK as teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to
support refugees, asylum seekers and second language speakers; or
2) gaining a TEFL qualification so they can work worldwide in a mission capacity or in EFL language
schools.
We run interactive online and blended training programmes alongside live webinars to support candidates seeking to enter the profession or support those in need of English locally.

How we do it

Christian TEFL uses the Global English TESOL custom-made platform to provide candidates with an interactive training experience. We offer a website shop with materials for working with ESOL learners in the UK and a YouTube channel with additional support videos for ongoing training and development.
